Brave

Brave

With a courageous and impetuous heroine leading the way, Disney Pixar sets out on yet another extraordinary journey—this time across the rugged and mysterious Highlands of Scotland in “Brave.”

The film features Kelly Macdonald as the voice of Merida, a skilled archer and the daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson). Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (voice of Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane). Merida’s actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Wise Woman (voice of Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish. The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it’s too late.

I really wanted to see Brave and I really enjoyed it but when it showed the people’s bottom it was really disgusting. The best bit was when the woman threw the girls sword into the fire and went mad and when the girl ran away. There were no bad parts in the move.

I really enjoyed “Brave.” It was a funny film about a princess who had to get married to one of three lord’s eldest sons. My favourite characters were the three twins who liked to eat sticky buns. My least favourite character was Lord Mac Guffin who was one of the lords. “Brave” was about a princess who wanted to choose her own fate. I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. There are a few sad parts but most of it was funny. There were also a few bits I didn’t like that much. Therefore I will rate this film four out of five stars.

I thought “Brave” was great. It was a film about a girl who turned her mum into a bear. If she didn’t undo the spell within two sunsets the spell would be permanent. This was a serious film with some sad parts and some very funny parts. I would definately recommend this movie.

I think Brave was a really good film. It was about a girl who had to get married to three king’s sons. But she doesn’t want to get married to any of them. It was really funny and a few bits were sad but it was still good. My favourite part was when the soldiers had to make a rope out of their trousers. My favourite character was the dad and I didn’t dislike anyone. I would recommend this film to any age. It would be a great family film to watch together. I really enjoyed this great film. I loved this film, it was the funniest one I have seen this year so far. Merida was very tomboyish and loved to fight like a boy. Her three wee brothers were very playful and loved their food. The film was very good and the part where Merida tried to sneak her mum into the castle after Merida turned her into a bear, was the best part for me. I could imagine myself being Merida, that would be very cool. The Mitchell Bear family.

I thought ‘brave’ was brilliant. I’ve seen it before but I still thought it was very good. The three little brothers were really cute when they turned into bears. Merida was a really good archer. It must have taken months of practice to shoot like that.
