TRANSFER RESULTS

Well done to all our P.7 pupils who endured a nerve-wracking Saturday morning, before the post arrived with Transfer grades. As mentioned previously, irrespective of grades awarded, all pupils should be proud of their efforts and if they maintain their current good attitude towards their work, will succeed – regardless of which school they transfer to.

INDOOR GAELIC

Good luck to our footballers who participate in the Allianz Cumann na mBunscoil indoor Gaelic competition on Wednesday morning. At least they will not have to worry about the poor weather for this competition!

CREDIT UNION QUIZ CHAMPIONS

Well done to all who participated in the Credit Union quiz on Friday night in Fintona Golf Club. All teams represented themselves very well and were right ‘in the mix’ until the later rounds. Particular mention, of course, must be made of our triumphant P.7 team of Eoghan McGrath, Lucy McCann, Carol McKnight and Ronan Darcy who won 1st prize and continued their great achievements of last year. This team now qualify for the Chapter Final later in February. Well done folks!!

GRANDPARENTS’ DAY

As part of Catholic Schools’ Week we will be having our annual Grandparents’ Day tomorrow, Wednesday morning at 11.00am. Our grandparents are warmly invited to attend for an hour or so of light ‘entertainment’ and a chance to see around the school. We look forward to seeing you then. (Unfortunately in order to manage numbers, we confine this invitation to Grandparents of pupils in P.1 – P.3).

SERVICE OF LIGHT

Our P.7 pupils along with their parents and sponsors are invited along to a Service of Light in the Sacred Heart Church on Friday night at 7.30pm. All families are encouraged to attend and pupils are asked to wear their school uniform.
