Monday, 11th November 2019 Weekly Note

TRANSFER EXAM

Good luck to all our P.7 pupils who will sit their Grammar School Entrance Exams this Saturday morning. All pupils will doubtless be somewhat nervous but should be assured that they have worked very hard and can be proud of their efforts, irrespective of what grade February brings. Good luck all!

ANTI-BULLYING WEEK

This week is Anti-Bullying week throughout N. Ireland. There will be a focus on all bullying issues over the week to ensure all our pupils are well equipped to deal with any Bullying situations, should they arise.

TOM SWEENEY

Local entertainer Tom Sweeney will be in our school on Thursday morning as part of our Anti-Bullying Week focus. Tom will perform a variety of fun songs and tales in his own inimitable style which should prove a great morning’s entertainment. Each child is asked to contribute £1 to offset costs.

PARENT-TEACHER MEETINGS

Please note that Parent Teacher meetings which are usually held in the first term, will now be held in the New Year. Details will, of course, be issued nearer the time.

CHRISTMAS PLAYS

Dates for our Christmas Plays have now been arranged. Pupils in Mrs Breen and Mrs Mellon’s classes will perform on Friday, 6th December at 1.30pm. Mrs Mellon’s class will be performing along with Mr McElholm’s class on Wednesday, 11th December at 7.30pm.
