TRANSFER TEST

Well done to all our pupils who participated in Saturday’s Transfer exam. All lived to tell the tale and will now await the results in the New Year. All have worked hard in preparation for the test and should be commended for their efforts, irrespective of the grade achieved.

CHRISTMAS PLAYS

Just a reminder of Christmas Play dates –

Mrs Breen & Mrs Mellon’s Classes               Monday, 9th December at 1.30pm

Mrs Mellon’s & Mr McElholm’s Classes      Wednesday, 11th December at 7.30pm

*Just to clarify that Mrs Mellon’s class will be performing their show on both dates

Please note the change of date for Mrs Breen’s & Mrs Mellon’s class shows from the original Friday to the Monday. This change is due to a clash with a wedding in the locality which would affect a number of pupils and parents. We apologise for any inconvenience.

CASH FOR CLOBBER

With the season of ‘giving’ fast approaching, we would like to support 2 worthy causes – ‘Support2gether’ which provides support for people living with ante/postnatal depression and ‘Help the Homeless Appeal’. Two boxes will be placed in the foyer of the school this week, one marked for each cause.

A ‘Cash for Clobber’ bag will be sent home for items that are for recycling NOT for re-using. This is for ‘Support2gether’ and will be collected on Thursday, 21st November.

A black bag will be sent home for items that can be re-used/worn again by the homeless. Examples of suitable items are listed on the information sheet. These items will be collected on Friday, 22nd November.
